welcome to lone star
A Message From Our Senior Pastor
Welcome to Lone Star Cowboy Church! We want to thank you for being our online guest. Our goal is to make you feel at home, whether in person or online. There are many different ministries here at Lone Star, including several ways you can be involved through our online campus. At our church campus, we offer age-specific ministries for your whole family, groups to help you connect with others, and classes to help you grow. We want to do everything we can to help you find the one that fits you best.
If you have any questions or would like more information about gaining a
closer relationship with Jesus Christ, we would love to have a conversation
with you. Click Here to send a short message, one of our staff will respond to youas soon as possible.
We hope you have a blessed day and if you live in the Montgomery area, please visit us soon.

our vision
Reach, Teach, and Disciple.
our core values
1. People are God's greatest treasure.
2. Honor God and He will honor you.
3. The church is the only hope for the world.
our 16 fundamental truths
1. The Scriptures are inspired by God. 2. There is One True God –revealed in three persons…Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 3. In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God’s son, Jesus was both human and divine. 4. That man willingly fell to sin – ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world. 5. Every person can have restored fellowship with God through salvation. 6. Ordinances of the church: (1) Water baptism by immersion after repenting of one’s sins and receiving Christ’s gift of salvation, and (2) Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death for our salvation. 7. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing an effective service. 8. The initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues, as experienced on the Day of Pentecost. 9. Sanctification is a progressive, lifelong process of separating from evil; as believers draw closer to God and further from sin, we become more Christlike. 10. The Church has a mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. 11. A divinely called and scripturally ordained leadership ministry serves the Church. 12. Divine healing. 13. In The Blessed Hope (the Rapture). 14. In the millennial reign of Christ. 15. A final judgment. 16. New Heavens and a New Earth.
People also Asked...
What denomination is a cowboy church? A cowboy church usually operates independently of others and is not, in itself, a denomination. We are an Assemblies of God church. Any cowboy church you visit will have their own denominational associations, so it’s always good to ask. What do cowboy churches believe? Cowboy Churches in large part believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the one true God, the Holy Trinity, the shed blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins, eternal life, and the authority of the Holy Bible. What is the difference between a cowboy church and a regular church? Truthfully, not much. We do celebrate our western heritage and rodeo culture is a huge part of life here, but at the end of the day we are a group of believers that just want you to come as you are and find a relationship with Jesus. The cowboy worship experience is informal, casual, and welcoming to anyone who wants to be here. What should I wear to a cowboy church? Anything appropriate for church or your granny’s house ;) We love a good hat and pair of boots, but there is no “cowboy dress code” to come to church. Most of our members wear jeans and comfortable tops and dresses to Sunday service.
